A purposeful final year before school
Our Four-Year-Old Kindergarten program offers a rich and stimulating educational experience that prepares children for a successful transition to school while continuing to nurture the joy and wonder of early childhood.
Operating daily from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, the program is led by a Victorian Government-accredited Early Childhood Teacher and supported by experienced educators who are committed to helping every child thrive.
Guided by our values of joy, curiosity and connection, the program combines play-based learning with intentional teaching to deepen children's understanding and extend their thinking. Through inquiry projects, community outings and engaging incursions, children are encouraged to question, investigate, collaborate and develop meaningful connections with the world around them.
As children progress through their final year before school, there is a strong focus on school readiness. Educators support the development of literacy and numeracy foundations, communication skills, emotional regulation, resilience and independence to ensure children feel confident and well prepared for the transition to primary school.
The year concludes with a special end-of-year excursion to celebrate the children's achievements, growth and friendships.
At Meraki Early Learning Centres, our Four-Year-Old Kindergarten program empowers children to leave as confident, curious and connected learners who are ready to embrace their next chapter.
