Fees & Child Care Subsidy
Making quality early learning more affordable for your family
Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
At Meraki Early Learning Centres, we understand that the cost of childcare is an important consideration for families. The Australian Government's Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps make early learning more affordable by reducing the amount you pay for your child's care.
The amount of CCS your family receives will depend on your individual circumstances. For many families, the subsidy can significantly reduce out-of-pocket childcare costs.
How the Child Care Subsidy Works
The Child Care Subsidy is paid directly to our centre on your behalf. This means you only pay the gap between the government subsidy and your childcare fees.
For example:
- If your daily fee is $160 and your CCS entitlement is 85%, the government pays most of the fee and you pay the remaining gap.
- If your CCS entitlement is 50%, your out-of-pocket cost will be higher, but your fees will still be substantially reduced.
Eligibility
To receive CCS, you must meet the eligibility criteria set by Services Australia.
