What ages does Meraki Early Learning Centre Bayswater cater for?+
We care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old across four age-based rooms: Nursery (6 weeks–18 months), Toddlers (18 months–3 years), 3 Year Old Kinder, and 4 Year Old Kinder. Every room has its own qualified educators and a program tailored to that stage of development.
What are your opening hours?+
Meraki Bayswater is open Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 6:30pm, 52 weeks of the year (excluding public holidays). Long opening hours make drop-off and pick-up easy for working families across Bayswater, Boronia, Wantirna and the wider Knox area.
What curriculum framework do you follow?+
Our program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), combined with our Hygge-inspired philosophy. Children learn through play, intentional teaching, nature-based experiences and warm, unhurried routines.
Are meals included?+
Yes — our on-site chef prepares fresh, seasonal meals daily. The daily fee includes breakfast, morning tea, a hot lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, plus nappies, sunscreen, hats and all incursion and excursion costs.
Do you offer funded kindergarten?+
Yes. Our 3 and 4 year old kinder programs are Victorian Government funded, so eligible families receive Free Kinder — up to $2,563 per child, per year — as a reduction on your weekly fees. Four-year-old kinder is delivered by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
Do you accept the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?+
Yes — Meraki Bayswater is an approved CCS provider. You'll need to register with Services Australia. Most families combine CCS with Free Kinder funding, which typically brings out-of-pocket daily fees down significantly.
