A joyful start to kinder in Bayswater
At Meraki Early Learning Centres Bayswater, our Three-Year-Old Kindergarten program is delivered within our long day care setting — giving families access to a Victorian Government funded kinder program with the flexibility of extended care hours.
The light-filled kindergarten rooms look out over a quiet court location where children can watch the trains go by. Inspired by the Curiosity Approach and our Hygge philosophy, the spaces feel warm, calm and home-like — designed to invite exploration at each child's own pace.
Play-based, child-led learning
The three-year-old year is a time of wonder and discovery. Our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher and experienced educators plan intentional experiences tailored to each child's interests, building early literacy and numeracy skills, language, creativity, social confidence and independence.
An indoor / outdoor program runs throughout the day. Our nature-inspired playgrounds and engaging indoor environments give children the agency to choose where they spend their time — building gross motor skills, fine motor skills and social-emotional confidence alongside their peers.
Through community outings, incursions and inquiry-based projects, children develop a genuine sense of belonging to their Bayswater community. The program lays strong foundations for our four-year-old kindergarten program the following year.
